About the unconference

The startup Higher Unconference takes place over 2.5 days between may 15-17th 2024 bringing together entrepreneurship educators, incubator and accelerator managers and of course startups.

Our Unconference is brought to you by startup higher, a startup itself, built by university entrepreneurship specialists who love what they do and wanted to build an event which really shows off entrepreneurship education…with a little bit of difference

We build all of our events with three core values;

• Learn learn learn - We love learning and we want to share that love

• Entertainment - We like to have fun and we always make sure our community does too

What to expect

it's not a conference 😁, well not really.

it’s an event that puts networking first - meeting one another and having a good old convo about the interesting bits and bobs is what we think makes this event special.

we will bring you amazing speakers from across the world. after a slightly late arrival, we’ll get cracking with some scene setting with inspirational keynotes and creating space for you to meet one another.

from thoughtful debates to work-it workshops and a networking collision zone, topped off with one big delectable dinner, we can guarantee you will not be bored!

15th May - nibble and nobble

we love a chance to relax and catch up so we’ve made sure that the summit delivers a proper social for you to meet, eat and drink.

16th May - the main event

this is where we get stuck into a schedule of amazing talks, fireside chats and an unconference built by you. The talks are designed to inspire you and help you in your role!

17th May - debrief energiser

before heading home, they’ll be a chance to reflect over a cup of coffee and finish off those notes as we host our final workshops before sending you home with bags of ideas and contacts.
