what is startup higher?

Startup higher is a collective of passionate people, producing engaging content and brilliant events for the Startup Higher community. We really enjoy the various events and networks for teams who support the brilliant work of startups. We also really enjoy the endless list of opportunities for startups to meet other startups in a startup kind of way. We had just one burning question. Why isn’t there a group which proactively tries to bring these two communities together?

So, being enterprise educators, we got out of the building and did a bit of research - it turned out that there wasn’t anything out there, and that people on both sides saw this as a problem.

We then designed an MVP (website, newsletter and a famous whatsapp group) and Startup Higher was born with the Startup Higher Unconference as our debut event.

We have three core values;

• Community - We want to help you and we are great listeners

• Learn learn learn - We love learning and we want to share that love!

• Entertainment - We like to have fun and we always make sure our members do too

We operate as a social enterprise and we donate a percentage of our profits (should we make any 😬) back into supporting entrepreneurship.

Simply put, we want to create stuff that will inspire you 😯, make you think 🤔and smile 😄
